“I used to dislike Islam, but when you came and shared the message of God with kindness and wisdom, I began to understand it. In the end, I embraced Islam.” These were the heartfelt words of a woman after meeting the iERA Share Islam Tanzania Dawah team. With joy on her face, she continued, “Muslims are kind people. Islam is a religion of love, compassion, and helping one another.”
She explained that for many years she had been curious about Islam, yet she never had the opportunity to learn about it from someone who could explain its teachings clearly and respectfully. Like many others, her understanding was shaped by limited information. Everything changed when the Dawah team visited her village and took the time to answer her questions with patience, wisdom, and compassion.
After listening carefully and reflecting on what she had learned, she chose to embrace Islam. Her decision was not made in haste but came after thoughtful consideration and a desire to follow what she believed to be the truth. Accepting Islam marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, one filled with hope, purpose, and a sincere commitment to learning.
Today, she is one of our dedicated students in the village, regularly attending Islamic classes and striving to deepen her understanding of her Creator and the teachings of Islam. Her eagerness to learn continues to inspire those around her as she grows in knowledge and confidence.
We pray that Allah keeps our sister steadfast in Islam, blesses her with beneficial knowledge, and grants her strength throughout her journey of faith. We also ask Allah to reward the iERA Share Islam Tanzania Dawah team for their ongoing efforts in sharing His message with wisdom, mercy, and compassion, so that more people may have the opportunity to learn, reflect, and make informed decisions about Islam.
