On a peaceful day, iERA duats came across a woman named Suzan, who was busy washing her clothes. Although she was occupied with her work, she kindly welcomed the visitors and agreed to listen to their message.
The duat began a respectful conversation, sharing the teachings of Islam and its message of worshipping the One Creator. Suzan explained that she and her husband were Catholics, and that she had been raised in that faith. Even so, she listened attentively as the duats continued to explain the core beliefs of Islam.
They spoke about Allah as the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the One who alone deserves worship. They explained that Islam is the religion taught by all the prophets from Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, to the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them all). They emphasized the importance of seeking the truth and preparing for the Day of Judgment, encouraging her to reflect on the message with sincerity.
As the conversation continued, Suzan’s heart was touched by what she heard. She asked questions, reflected deeply, and expressed that the message made sense to her. By the mercy of Allah, she made the life-changing decision to embrace Islam.
With conviction and joy, she recited the Shahada, sincerely declaring her faith and becoming a Muslim. To mark the beginning of this new chapter in her life, she chose the beautiful Islamic name Aisha.
Her journey is a reminder that guidance can come at any moment—even in the middle of an ordinary day in a compound. A simple conversation, delivered with wisdom, kindness, and respect, became the means through which a heart opened to Islam.
