Andrew Mutetwa has always been fascinated with Islam although he was until now a non Muslim.
He had always wondered about the Islamic practices he observed around him.
He always asked questions like ‘why did Muslims bury their dead so quickly?’ ‘why did they remove their shoes before praying?’ And ‘what was the significance of praying five times a day?’
One day, a group of iERA Duat (Islamic missionaries) arrived in his location, spreading the message of Islam.
Andrew approached them, eager to find answers to his questions. The Duat welcomed him with warm smiles and open hearts.
With clarity and wisdom, they explained the significance of swift burials, emphasizing the importance of respecting the deceased and the need to focus on the soul’s journey.
They revealed the logic behind removing shoes before prayers, highlighting the importance of purity and humility in worship.
As for the five daily prayers, the Duat explained how they served as a constant reminder of Allah’s presence, providing a spiritual anchor in a chaotic world. Andrew’s eyes widened with wonder as the duat’ words illuminated the beauty of Islam.
The Duat’s wise answers filled Andrew’s heart with joy and his mind with clarity. He felt an overwhelming sense of belonging.
With a heart full of conviction, Andrew made the life-changing decision to embrace Islam. As he recited the Shahada, a sense of peace and tranquility enveloped him.
Andrew’s journey serves as a testament to the power of seeking knowledge and the impact of compassionate da’wah. His story inspires others to explore the truth, to question with humility, and to embrace the beauty of Islam.
