This is a s story of a man who believes there is a Supreme Creator but does not really affiliate himself to any religion in particular.
He is openminded and ready to learn all the time as long as you are convincing in what you say and claim.
He has a different though of Christianity, which is the dominant religion in Zambia and therefore he did not bother to associate himself with it.
According to him, Christianity was a weapon used for the purpose of colonialism and therefore he wanted nothing to do with it.
For the young man the main objective was to know why the Creator created us in the first place. In his quest for this knowledge, he had researched into the purpose of life but everywhere he faces, he hits a dead end.
From this he concluded that maybe science could be right and we are just a result of revolution.
One-day he went home and found a pamphlet on the table on which there was a question. What is the purpose of life? and it caught his attention and he wanted to know what the message was.
After reading the pamphlet he felt that it made sense and he wanted to learn more. Lucky for him, there was a contact number written at the bottom.
He took the like and called it. At the other end of the call it was an iERA Da’ee. He introduced himself and later explained why he called.
Just from his explanation, the Da’ee could tell that he got the number from one of the pamphlets we handed out in the streets.
The pamphlet was given to his younger brother when he met the Duat in the streets.
However, for the brother it was just a paper and he never even had time to read it.
To him it was a source of guidance, that’s how the brother and the Da’ee arranged to meet.
When the two met, it was the matter of introducing Islam to the brother. Using the GORAP method, everything was explained in simple terms and clear.
Hearing this the brother admitted the message had really changed his view of life and he concluded that Islam was really a true religion from God.
The brother made Shahadah and as we speak he is trying his best to learn his new religion.
