The iERA Uganda team were on the usual trip spreading the Message of Islam when they came across a water seller by the name Joseph, who had no idea that his life was about to change for the very best.
When the team approached Joseph, he had a paradigm shift, he had never in his life met a group of Muslims who were so kind to him while interacting about their faith.
They asked for his time and with complete passion and certainty, the team took him through the Oneness of Allah and what it meant to be a Muslim.
Joseph listened attentively to the beautiful speech the team was presenting, he was so carried away by the wisdom reaching his ears and affecting his heart that he invited the team to a shed to have a seat to have a further discussion.
The Duat also shared the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), emphasizing how his actions shaped the world in a progressive way.
When Joseph expressed that he had never been taught about Islam in thiscway, the Duat seized the opportunity and used the GORAP methodology to enlighten Joseph about Islam. They patiently answered his questions and addressed his concerns.
Their dedication and sincerity touched Joseph’s heart, and he decided to embrace Islam.
Joseph took the new Muslim class, where he learned about the fundamentals of Islam. He was grateful for the support and guidance provided by the iERA Duat in Uganda with dedication.
Now, as a proud Muslim, Joseph appreciates the efforts of the Duats and encourages them to continue their Prophetic mission of spreading the message of Islam and submitting to the will of Allah.
He then decided to adopt for himself the name Ashraf, which meant the honorable one.
Joseph’s story is a testament to the power of sincere da’wah and the transformative impact it can have on individuals. 🌟
