Over 200 people have embraced Islam in Uganda when a mass dawah event was organized by iERA Uganda earlier this month.
The Duat put together the program in a town in the Central region if the country known as Luweero.
The event was characterized by the use of the GORAP methodology, a structured approach to propagating Islam, which outlines in a clear detail the oneness of God and the uniform way of worship practiced by all of Allah’s prophets, including Jesus (Issa).
This method proved to be highly effective in conveying the core tenets of Islam to the attendees.
The Duat while speaking to the people were inspirational, and backed their words with Quranic verses, which touched the hearts and minds of the audience that were present at the event.
They highlighted the similarities between the worship and practices of Jesus and those prescribed in Islam, including the wearing of traditional attire like the long robes popular among Arab Muslims.
This connection helped bridge understanding and foster a sense of familiarity and respect among the attendees.
The team also read verses from the Holy Quran, illustrating the way Jesus worshipped and dressed, which further reinforced the message of unity and continuity in the worship of God.
This approach not only educated the attendees but also inspired them to reflect on their own spiritual journeys.
The success of this event is a testament to the power of sincere and well-articulated dawah.
iERA Uganda remains steadfast in its prophetic mission to spread the message of Islam to every home. With continued efforts and the support of the community, they are confident that they can achieve this noble goal with the help of Allah.
