Papua New Guinea Dawah Mission: A Month of Impact and Growth.

This month our da’wah team in Papua New Guinea engaged in a powerful series of weekly outreach effort to support connecting with communities while spreading the message of Islam in both urban and remote village in Papua New Guinea. These outreach were filled with blessings and meaningful progress, as our team worked tirelessly to fulfill their mission of building understanding, faith, and resilience.

Sharing Islam with 40 Individuals
In just over a week, the team was able to share the message of Islam with 40 individuals, each interaction a step toward building awareness and compassion within the community. Through open dialogue and respectful engagement, our team presented the core tenets of Islam, addressing common questions and sparking curiosity about the faith in a way that honored the cultural context of each person.

New Muslims and Supportive Revert Program
Alhamdulillah, three individuals embraced Islam, taking their shahada and beginning their journey as new Muslims. To ensure they felt supported, the team organized a three-day New Muslim Support (NMS) program, providing guidance and companionship. This program covered foundational knowledge and practices, helping these new Muslims feel confident and welcomed as part of the broader Muslim community.

Strengthening Dawah Skills with GORAP Training
On weekly basis, our team conducted in-person GORAP training sessions, equipping local volunteers and dawah enthusiasts with a practical and effective methodology for sharing Islam.

For those unable to attend in person, we conducted online GORAP training sessions, making it possible for participants from different parts of Papua New Guinea to join and learn.

Village Dawah
A standout feature of was the team’s time spent in the villages, where they immersed themselves in the local culture and engaged directly with villagers with dedicated da’wah activities. These village sessions were incredibly impactful, offering the team an opportunity to connect in person, speak in simple terms, and address the questions and concerns of villagers.

Moving Forward Together
Work in Papua New Guinea highlights the growth and development of our da’wah mission in the region. With each shahada, GORAP session, and heartfelt conversation, we are building a community rooted in understanding, respect, and shared values.

We pray that Allah blesses our new brothers and sisters in Islam and grants success to everyone involved in this mission. As we continue this journey, we look forward to bringing even more light to the beautiful people of Papua New Guinea, in sha’ Allah.
