Village Headman Zulumba Embraces Islam and Leads by Example

Village Headman Zulumba, born Diston Metan, recently embraced Islam after learning about the oneness of Allah and the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). His heart was touched by the meanings of Surah Al-Ikhlas and Surah Al-Fatiha, which emphasize that Allah is One, Eternal, and worthy of all worship.

His decision shocked many in the village, especially his wife, who confronted him in distress. She feared what this change would mean for their family. But through patience and open conversation, he reassured her, and with time, she accepted and supported his faith.

Since becoming Muslim, Headman Zulumba has earned increased respect from fellow leaders and support from the Traditional Authority, who encouraged him to teach others. He now plays a vital role in sharing Islam with other chiefs and villagers, combining leadership with dawah.
