The Day Francis Found the Truth.

Francis was a man of hard work and heavy lifting. As a local bricklayer, his days were spent shaping the earth into foundations, focused on the physical world in front of him. But on his way to work one morning, he encountered a foundation of a different kind.

The iERA Duats met Francis on his path and asked for just a few moments of his time. He paused, his tools by his side, as they began to speak about the Oneness of God (Tawheed). They described a Creator who is unique, incomparable, and the sole Designer of everything Francis touched—from the clay in his hands to the breath in his lungs.

Francis listened with intense focus, but one specific cultural misunderstanding weighed on his mind. He asked a question that had long bothered him: “Why do Muslims bury people so quickly? Is it before they have truly passed away?”

The Duats spoke to his heart with patience and logic. They explained that Islam treats the deceased with the utmost dignity and speed, following the Prophetic guidance to return the body to the earth as a final act of respect and peace.

The explanation struck a chord. The fear was replaced by understanding, and the confusion was washed away by the beauty of Islamic practice. Francis realized that Islam wasn’t just a set of rules—it was the Ultimate Truth.

With conviction in his voice and a smile on his face, Francis set down his old path and chose a new one. He declared his Shahada right there on the road, embracing Islam and choosing the name Fahad.

“Today, he isn’t just building houses; he is building his Jannah.”
