Sister Hadija shared a powerful reflection on how her perspective of Islam changed and the profound impact it has had on her life.
“My perspective of Islam changed profoundly when I learned that Jesus is not God, but a creation of God, just like Adam, who was created without a father or mother,” she explained. This realization led her to question her previous beliefs. She reflected, “If Jesus were God because of his miraculous birth, wouldn’t the same logic apply to Adam? This thought led me to understand that both are creations of the One Creator, who brings things into existence as He wills.”
Through a thoughtful conversation with Da’ees from iERA Tanzania, Sister Hadija discovered the beauty and simplicity of Islam’s message of monotheism. She found peace and clarity in the concept of worshiping one God, contrasting it with the complexity of the triune God she once believed in.
Embracing Islam has been a transformative journey for her. She is now dedicated to deepening her knowledge of the faith, not only for personal spiritual growth but also to foster respect and understanding for others’ beliefs.
“This journey has taught me the value of seeking knowledge and appreciating the diversity of religious paths while holding firm to the oneness of God,” she shared.
Sister Hadija’s inspiring story highlights the profound impact of seeking truth, gaining knowledge, and finding peace in the simplicity of faith. It is a reminder of the power of Da’wah in guiding others toward understanding and clarity.
