Embracing Islam

One of the village in Tanzania, there was a man who had a deep connection to farming and traditional customs One day, he was heading to the graves of his ancestors, carrying offerings such as alcohol , a calabash , and a red cloth, in line with the rituals passed down by his forefathers.
He believed that the rain did not fall because the spirits were angry, and he thought he needed to perform these rites to appease them.On that day, he encountered the IERA da’awah team, who were actively sharing the message of Islam.

The team spoke to him about the oneness of Allah, explaining that it is Allah who controls the rain and everything in the world. Initially, he rejected their words, sticking to his belief in the spirits and rituals. However, the IERA team remained patient, continuing to guide him with kindness and clear reasoning.

After much reflection and the team’s persistent efforts, his heart opened to the truth. He came to realize that Allah alone has control over everything, and he chose to leave behind the traditional practices . With a sincere heart, he embraced Islam, marking a new chapter in his life.
