Despite his state, these young men were undeterred and saw an opportunity to share their faith.
They began speaking to him about God and the ways of Jesus, drawing parallels between the teachings of Jesus and the practices of Islam. They spoke about Jesus’s acts of worship, his modest attire, his visits to the mosque, his abstinence from dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments, and his ritual purification before prayer. Their words were filled with sincerity and compassion.
🌟 The young man was deeply moved by their message. Despite his initial condition, he found himself drawn to the purity and truth in their words. Feeling an inexplicable pull towards their faith, he pulled them aside and expressed his desire to embrace Islam. However, he made it clear that he needed twenty thousand shillings immediately to proceed SubhanAllah !.
In response, the young men gently explained that becoming Muslim is not about money or material wealth. They emphasized that Islam is about following the righteous path of God’s messengers and seeking eternal life. They spoke of the love, peace, and truth that Islam brings into one’s life.
💫 The following day, after reflecting on their words and feeling a newfound sense of clarity, he made a life-changing decision. He decided to convert to Islam. Since then, he has embraced his new faith wholeheartedly. To him, Islam embodies love, truth, and a sense of belonging that he had been searching for. He has committed himself to studying Islam further to deepen his understanding and strengthen his faith.
