He grew up in the quiet village of Langi, a young man full of energy and deep questions about life. Though raised in a Christian family, he often felt unsettled in his heart. He wondered why the world had so many religions, yet only one God. These thoughts followed him into adulthood, growing louder with time.
One afternoon, while harvesting sugarcane on his family’s farm, he met two young men dressed with dignity and warmth in their smiles. They greeted him kindly and introduced themselves as Muslims.
Their words were gentle but powerful, as they spoke about Islam describing it as a faith of peace, love, and obedience to the One true God.

As they continued talking, something stirred within Yohana. Every explanation they gave made sense. They showed him that Islam was not a new religion, but the final message in the line of prophets including Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.
Not long after, Yohana made his decision. With a sincere heart, he recited the Shahada, embracing Islam fully. Tears ran down his cheeks not from sadness, but from relief. The peace he had been searching for his whole life had finally found him.
