James, a student at Accra Technical University, had been exploring different faiths, seeking answers to life’s big questions. A friend introduced him to some brothers from Iera Ghana, who were happy to engage him in conversations about Islam.
Initially, James was skeptical, but as he asked more questions, he began to see the logic and beauty of Islamic teachings. One topic that particularly caught his attention was the prophecy of Jesus about the Comforter.
The brothers explained that in the Bible, Jesus foretold the coming of a Comforter, who would guide humanity to the truth. They showed James how this prophecy aligns with the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who is considered the final messenger of God in Islam.
James was intrigued. “This makes sense,” he said, his curiosity piqued. “If this is true, then I will accept Islam.
The brothers smiled, happy to delve deeper into the topic. They shared more evidence and explained the significance of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) message. James listened intently, his heart open to the truth.
After much contemplation, James decided to take the leap of faith. He took his Shahada, embracing Islam as his religion. “Alhamdulillah,” he exclaimed, tears of joy in his eyes.
