A few days ago, during the Destination Da‘wah program, we experienced a moment that deeply reminded us why this mission exists. As we moved from door to door, engaging with people and sharing reminders, Allah placed an unexpected opportunity for da‘wah directly in our path.
While walking along the roadside, we met a group of men. After greeting them with peace, we began a respectful conversation and gently asked about their beliefs. They openly shared that they believed Jesus to be God. We listened carefully and respectfully, understanding that sincere da‘wah begins with patience, wisdom, and good character.
After hearing their beliefs, we calmly explained the Islamic understanding of God. We spoke about the greatness and oneness of Allah, His perfection and mercy, and clarified the position of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) in Islam—as a noble and honored messenger of Allah, not divine. The discussion unfolded naturally, allowing space for questions, reflection, and understanding.
As the conversation continued, we noticed a clear change in their expressions. Curiosity turned into deep reflection, and confusion gave way to clarity. By the will of Allah, their hearts softened as they understood the message of Tawheed and the simplicity of Islam. There was no pressure—only truth shared with wisdom, compassion, and sincerity.
By Allah’s mercy, the moment arrived. Right there on the roadside, after careful thought, they chose to embrace Islam. With humility and conviction, they declared the Shahada and entered the fold of Islam. It was a deeply emotional and humbling experience for everyone present and a powerful reminder that guidance can reach hearts in the most unexpected places.
This encounter strengthened our faith and reaffirmed that da‘wah is not limited to planned settings. Even during a structured program like Destination Da‘wah, Allah opens hearts in the most ordinary moments. One sincere conversation became a turning point in their lives.
