He explained how his best friend, a former drinking buddy, had reverted to Islam and become a daee (one who calls to Islam). Witnessing his friend’s transformation inspired Nkurunziza to make the same life-changing decision. 🤲✨
Uwase was stunned. “Is this why you stopped drinking?” she asked.
“Yes, “Islam forbids it, and I’ve never felt more at peace.”
Touched by her husband’s transformation, Uwase made a surprising request: “Then call your fellow Muslims to make me one too!” 🙏
The very next day, Uwase took her Shahadah and joined her husband on this beautiful journey of faith. 🕌💖
