The iERA Uganda Monthly Imam Training blossomed into great success as Imams across the district expressed their strong willingness to embrace and adopt effective strategies for spreading Da’wah.
During the session, Brother Faizal, the Coordinator, delivered an inspiring message urging the Imams and other attendees who are willing to join the prophetic mission to do so with kindness, compassion, and wisdom.
He guided them on the essential principles of Da’wah, which include understanding the language of the people, adopting a friendly and approachable attitude, and maintaining a smiling face. Brother Faizal reminded the Imams about the immense rewards that await those who dedicate their lives to calling others to the path of Allah. He further emphasized the qualities of a good Da’ee — highlighting smartness, humility, and good character as key traits of an effective caller to Islam.

In his address, Brother Yahya, the District Head, appealed to the Imams to take an active role in Da’wah teams and fully participate in the noble mission of calling people back to Allah. He urged them not to ignore those who neglect Salah and forget Allah’s commands, but rather to reach out with compassion and guidance.
Brother Yahya further encouraged the Imams to develop comprehensive plans to strengthen Da’wah efforts and promote Islamic development within their villages.
The iERA Uganda Education Officer, Brother Akram, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the need for Imams to adopt practical Da’wah strategies rooted in kindness and understanding. He reminded them that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spread the message of Islam through patience, love, and gentleness — qualities every Da’ee should embody.
By the end of the training, the Imams expressed their full commitment and enthusiasm to take on Da’wah and become active participants in the prophetic mission.
With renewed energy and clear strategies, the Imams are ready to carry the message of Islam to their communities — spreading light, compassion, and faith wherever they go.
