Islam has guaranteed all human rights, and has established a society based on important principles such as: justice, equality, doing good and charity. Allah said: “Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct…” (Al-Nahl, 90), and He has also said, “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes- from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly” (Al-Mumtahnah: 8) and He said: “O you who believe! Be firm managers for the sake of Allah, bearing witness with justice. And don’t let hating people lead you to not doing justice.”
Islam teaches us to treat people well, even if they are not Muslims. This may attract them, make them love Islam and Muslims and then become Muslims. This was the behavior of the Prophet (PBUH) and his companions as well as the good people who preceded us.
This is the story of a woman who took shahadah when IERA team visited her in the place she’s always doing her business. She said “The good way Muslims have acted to me have caused me to love the Muslims, but I have grown up missing the way to embrace Islam”.
This mother’s work is a small business and mainly selling mangos and other small articles. The woman said that the place to do her business was given to her after Muslims have pleaded on her behalf. The former Christian colleagues refused her the place and was rejected by them before she became a Muslim. This woman after being visited by the OS/IERA, she felt very happy and became a Muslim Alhamdulillah. We gave her Jilbab to perform Salah in good conditions and she promised that she will not leave Islam until she leaves this world.
