She met the iERA outreach team during a regular day at her workplace, a local restaurant. As is the custom of the du’aat, we approached her with gentleness and wisdom, presenting the truth of Islam with kindness and clarity. As we spoke, our words seemed to reach directly into her heart. With a surprised smile, she asked, “Are you angels?” a remark that marked the opening of light within her soul.

That simple, heartfelt question became the turning point. Soon after, with peace and joy in her heart, she willingly accepted Islam. On the very first day after embracing the faith, she made a commitment to attend a lesson at the mosque. Despite being sick and physically weak, she arrived earlier than everyone else, saying, “I came to fulfill my promise and meet my Muslim brothers and sisters.”
Her story is a powerful reminder that when faith takes root in the heart, no illness, exhaustion, or obstacle can stand in its way. We ask Allah to keep our sister firm on the truth and to grant us all the strength, sincerity, and steadfastness to continue on this beautiful path of faith.
