A few days ago, a drunkard found himself in the company of two young men iERA Duat while he was intoxicated with alcohol, speaking freely.
Despite his condition, these young men were undeterred by his state and began to speak to him about God.
They shared with him the ways of Jesus, such as his acts of worship, his modest attire, his visits to the mosque, his abstinence from dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments, and his ritual purification before prayer.
Feeling drawn to their words, the drunkard pulled them aside and expressed his desire to embrace Islam, but he made it clear that he needed twenty thousand shillings immediately to proceed.
In response, they gently explained that becoming Muslim is not about money or material wealth. Instead, it’s about following the righteous path of God’s messengers and seeking eternal life.
The following day, he made the decision to convert to Islam.
He has since embraced Islam wholeheartedly.
According to him, this religion embodies love and truth. He has also committed himself to studying Islam further to increase his understanding.
