A cattle herdsman in the Northern villages has embraced Islam after a the iERA Duat showed the code of conduct of ‘never say die’ while having a conversation with him.
The young man initially established his point that at the end of the day, he is a staunch Christian and would not switch sides.
According to him, he has friends who are Muslims and knows deeply what the message of Islam was and it was not attractive to him.
The team insisted on sharing the message and he allowed them after they had had a long conversation for him to agree.
He reluctantly agreed not knowing the message of Islam carried a very heavy weight on the heart of the sincere people.
While he continued to listen to what the speaker was saying, his heart began to melt for the words that Islam carried.
He easily said, trying to hold on to his belief “How can I convert when I am only cattle herder? What would that mean for my responsibilities?”
They reassured him that Islam is about faith and practice, emphasizing that one can embrace Islam anywhere and establish prayer in any situation. Gradually, he began to understand their message.
In time, he was moved to declare his faith, reciting shahada words and then the Duat prayed for him, asking Allah to protect him in his newfound faith and to guide him away from his previous unprincipled stance.
