In each month, the iERA Uganda has pinned one day out of the 30 or 31 days as a dawah day, set to create awareness in each village the team finds itself.
In the month of November in Luweero, 18 people embraced the faith when a mass dawah gathering was organized by the team.
Among the 18 people, two elderly men had indicated that the subject and religion of Islam is completely alien to them and the day of the event was his first time hearing of it.
This is similar to a an event that had taken place in Uganda in the month of October when the Duat had approached two men and one had indicated that he had never heard about Islam in his entire life and had embrace Islam on the very day he heard about Islam.
At the event, they were introduced to new ideas about Islam that they had never encountered.
One of the elderly men expressed his eagerness to embrace Islam and committed to bringing his friends to learn about the true religion based on what he had heard.
The Duat used the GORAP methodology to convey the message of Islam. This approach resonated deeply with the attendees, encouraging many to step forward and act as examples for others.
Brother Hamidu, the area Coordinator, assured the reverts that they would receive thorough education in the basics of Islam.
He emphasized that Islam is the true religion and a complete way of life, instilling confidence and hope in their hearts. He also expressed readiness to teach the reverts, ensuring they are well-equipped to practice their faith.
The area district head, Brother Sentamu, also took the opportunity to thank those who bravely accepted Islam and encouraged them to attend the new Muslim classes to learn about their new religion. His words of appreciation and encouragement further motivated the reverts to deepen their understanding and commitment to Islam.
This event was not only a spiritual awakening for the attendees but also a testament to the tireless efforts of iERA Uganda team.
Their dedication to the Prophetic Mission continues to bear fruit, even in the face of challenges.
The community in Luweero witnessed a transformative day filled with unity, faith, and new beginnings.
