3-days mentorship program organized by iERA Uganda

The iERA Uganda team has organized a 3-day mentorship program to educate and take the Duat through revision and to motivate them on how to carry out their activities diligently.

The program was put in place to equip the Duat with valuable skills and expertise in their line of work.

From the very first session, Brother Hassan and Brother Yusuf, iERA Uganda’s Education Officer together with district heads, set the tone with their passion and dedication.

Brother Hassan’s words resonated deeply, urging the Duat to love their work and stay motivated. He emphasized the importance of taking better pictures for their activities and continuous learning, reminding them that seeking knowledge about their prophetic mission would enable them to excel and transform the villages they served.

The Duat were taught the best ways of taking good pictures while carrying out different activities as expected out of them.

The team mastered the art of taking great photography techniques to enhance their field and event coverage, ensuring their work reached a wider audience.

They also learned better da’wah skills, and new strategies for impactful outreach. Each session was a blend of practical training and inspirational talks, leaving the participants feeling both equipped and motivated.

Brother Yusuf’s session was particularly powerful. He reminded the team of iERA’s vision and intentions, urging them to adhere to these principles in their work.

He stressed the importance of discipline and innovation, encouraging the Duat to invent new dawah tactics to make their mission more effective. His words ignited a renewed purpose and determination among the participants.

As the program came to a close, the atmosphere was charged with a sense of accomplishment.

The Duat were not only grateful for the knowledge they had gained but also for the renewed sense of friendship and purpose.

In their own words, one of the Outreach Specialist admitted that “Alhamdulillah! we’re ready to shine in the field”.

The mentorship program had been a resounding success, equipping the Outreach Specialists with the tools they needed to make a real difference.

As they embarked on their October da’wah journey, they carried with them the lessons learned, the skills acquired, and the unwavering support of their community.
