In a vibrant village, a football match was organized to mark Christmas, drawing people from over four neighboring villages.
Seizing this opportunity to spread the message of Islam, iERA Uganda’s district head, Brother Yahya, along with the coordinators, took to the field to engage with the crowd.
Before the match and during the break, Brother Yahya addressed the enthusiastic spectators and players.
He began by thanking the organizers for bringing the community together through the match. He reminded everyone of the importance of believing in one God and clarified that Jesus is a true messenger of God, not God himself.

The audience listened attentively as Brother Yahya explained how Jesus, a true believer, worshipped by bowing down rather than standing.
Following Brother Yahya, Brother Salahudeen, an outreach specialist, spoke to the crowd. He emphasized the significance of understanding God’s oneness and existence and the correct way to praise God. He encouraged everyone to attend the new Muslim support classes to deepen their knowledge about God’s oneness and learn how to worship truly.
The coordinators also shared their insights, reinforcing the importance of unity and faith. Brother Yahya highlighted that supporting community events like football matches is crucial for fostering unity and guiding people towards the right path. He assured the crowd that the iERA team would continue to be available for consultations, Inshallah.
The event was a great success, with many attendees showing interest in learning more about Islam. Alhamdulillah, the iERA Uganda team’s dedication to spreading the Prophetic mission and unifying communities through such events continues to inspire and uplift.
May Allah bless their efforts and grant success to their noble mission.
