One of the villages in Uganda has undergone a tremendous change when Duats from iERA visited thee place to invite people to Islam.
This happened with the team had set foot to continue with their usual Prophetic mission of inviting people to the faith and educating them on what Islam is all about and showcasing the bond of brotherhood to every community they stepped foot in.
When they arrived, there was no place for prayers, although there few Muslims in the community.
When they started uniting the people, both new Muslims and existing Muslims, a brother in the community, Abdul Hakim, who happened to be one of the very passionate Muslims gave a piece of land to the Duat to put up a structure on it where Muslims will converge to pray and learn.
The Duat welcomed this gesture with great happiness and with eagerness, they began to put up a temporary structure that will provide shades against the heat of the sun and the pouring of rain.
They began constructing a temporary mosque immediately, while planning for a permanent structure. Without delay, they erected poles and used sturdy polythene to create a makeshift mosque.
This space quickly became a hub for the community, with the first Jummah prayers led by the iERA outreach specialists, attended by both new and old Muslims.
Witnessing the fulfillment of his dream, Brother Abdul Hakim was moved to tears of joy seeing his charity was bearing fruit, and the village now had a place for Muslims to gather and pray.
The Duat expressed their gratitude to him and prayed for his reward, acknowledging the transformative impact of his generosity.
The efforts of iERA Uganda and the dedication of individuals like Brother Abdul Hakim are paving the way for Islam to reach every home.
The construction of the temporary mosque marked the beginning of a new chapter for the village, symbolizing unity, faith, and the power of community-driven change.
We thank Allah for these blessings and the ongoing mission to spread the light of Islam.
