In their unwavering commitment to supporting new Muslims, iERA Uganda has brought together Duat, Muslims in villages, well-wishers, and head teachers in a remarkable and impactful collaboration.
Through this partnership, essential resources such as blackboards have been provided to empower new Muslims with foundational knowledge of Islam, as part of iERA’s New Muslim Support Program.
The impact of this initiative is deeply felt across the many villages where iERA Uganda operates. These blackboards have become indispensable tools, significantly enhancing the learning experience for new Muslims. Teachers utilize them to write key surahs such as Al-Fatihah and essential ayahs, allowing students to read, memorize, and internalize these teachings with greater ease and understanding.

This initiative has also fostered a profound sense of community. Various members, including elder Muslims and local mosques, have generously contributed blackboards, recognizing the critical importance of sustaining Da’wah efforts in their villages. Often, the words written on these blackboards are preserved until the following day, enabling students to revisit and reinforce their lessons, further supporting their spiritual growth and learning journey.
To ensure the effectiveness of this initiative, district leaders have engaged in thoughtful discussions, ensuring the process of teaching new Muslims is both efficient and impactful. The collaborative efforts of iERA Uganda and the broader community are a shining testament to the strength of unity in advancing the noble mission of Da’wah.
Indeed, these blackboards have become symbols of progress, unity, and hope, enabling new Muslims to deepen their understanding of Islam. Together, with the unwavering dedication of iERA Uganda and the support of the community, we move closer to the vision of bringing Islam to every home, one heart at a time.
Alhamdulillah, may Allah continue to bless these efforts, accept them, and grant abundant success to this noble mission.
