iERA Uganda successfully graduate 20 new Muslim Imams

The iERA Uganda team has successfully graduated 20 new Muslims after they had undergone a four-month study program the Duat center in Luyobyo, a village in the Luweero district, at the Central part of the country.

The beautiful program was graced by the Islamic Judge of the district and praised the graduands for their dedication towards their studies.

The comprehensive training covered various aspects of Islamic leadership. The students learned how to deliver sermons, pray for the deceased, and recite the Quran and Hadiths as imams. Their fieldwork allowed them to apply this knowledge practically, preparing them to serve their communities effectively.

The event was organized by iERA Uganda’s dedicated team led Brother Yusuf, iERA Uganda’s education officer, and Brother Abdurahman, the operations officer.

Brother Yusuf began the ceremony with an address, highlighting the positive impact of the Duat Centre in nurturing new Muslims and turning them into knowledgeable Imams.

He expressed gratitude to the district leadership for their support and invited the graduates to introduce themselves to the congregation, sharing their reasons for joining the program.

The graduates expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to study Islam and thanked iERA Uganda for their dedication.

One particularly joyous graduate shared his experience of going to the field, where he successfully convinced three people to embrace Islam and they took their shahadas.

This moment underscored the impact of their training and the importance of their work.

Sheikh Abdallah Kalanzi, the district Islamic Judge representative, thanked the iERA organization for their tremendous Prophetic mission, emphasizing how it supported Muslim leaders in their efforts to spread Islam.

He also commended the graduates for their commitment to studying Allah’s religion.

The ceremony concluded with Brother Abdur Rahman presenting certificates to the graduates. He encouraged them to apply their knowledge in their communities and be exemplary figures for others, wishing them success in their future endeavors.

The efforts of iERA Uganda, along with the dedication of these new Muslim graduates, are paving the way for Islam to reach every home.

The graduation marked not only the end of their formal training but also the beginning of their journey as Imams, ready to guide and support their communities with newfound wisdom and faith.
