A young non Muslim lady, watched everyday as her husband, who is a Muslim go about his act of worship everyday without asking questions.
Over time, she developed curiosity over the discipline and commitment her husband had for his spiritual development but never asked any questions.
She rather went searching for answers online and lucky enough for her, she found iERA online in Zambia and asked a whole load of questions to get a better understanding of the religion.
As the interaction went on, she booked an appointment to meet the Duat in person.
And when she met them, she came with a whole other set of questions that were answered with wisdom and compassion.
At the end of the session, she felt a sense of conviction wash over her. She was ready to embrace Islam. With a heart full of joy, she made the shahada, declaring her faith in Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
When she shared the news with her husband, he was overjoyed. Together, they began to pray and learn more about Islam. She also continued to learn from the iERA Duat, who became her mentors on her spiritual journey.
As she navigated her new faith, she felt a sense of peace and contentment that she had never known before.
