Our iERA team recently had the privilege of visiting the Muslim villages of the Indigenous Aeta. What we witnessed was truly inspiring—a community devoted to the teachings of Islam, with individuals who not only practice their faith but also actively contribute to the work of Allah.
Among the villagers, two young children, just eight years old, stood out for their remarkable ability to read the Qur’an fluently. Despite their young age, they displayed a deep understanding and respect for its teachings, reciting verses with confidence and devotion. Their knowledge and dedication serve as a powerful reminder that age is no barrier when it comes to seeking knowledge and serving Allah.

Seeing the community’s commitment, from children to elders, was a moving experience. The villagers organize regular prayers, teach Qur’an reading, and uphold the values of Islam in their daily lives. This visit reinforced the importance of supporting and helping such communities, ensuring they continue to grow in faith and knowledge.
The resilience, dedication, and devotion of the Muslim Aeta community, especially the young children who embody hope for the future, remind us of the beauty and strength of faith, even in the most remote places
