Calling people to the message of Islam is a very key component for the survival of Muslims.
It is our lifeline and should be taken as a very important trust.
We need to nurture it and train ourselves to adapt to it in such a way as we have done with our daily prayers and fasting among other individual responsibilities placed on us by Allah.
In light of this, many volunteers in the Philippines took to the street on August 10, 2024.
More than 100 Duat and volunteers gathered at the Golden Mosque in Quiapo and vis region Nueva Ecija for the much anticipated Global Da’wah Day event titled “Is Life Just A Game?”
This event is aimed at inspiring and empowering individuals to spread the message of Islam in their communities.
On the Global Dawah Day, our dedicated volunteers engaged with communities in these cities, sharing the beautiful message of Islam and inviting many to embrace its teachings.
The event culminated in heartfelt moments as individuals took their Shahadah.
At the end of the day, a historic milestone was reached when these 100 volunteers and Duat who participated in the Global Dawah Day had earlier assembled at the Golden Mosque in Quiapo; Nueva Ecija; Visayas region in Cebue for a mini workshop.
The workshop was organized by Ustadh Ahmed Saliddin. The workshop equipped volunteers with the tools and knowledge necessary for effective dawah outreach.
After the briefing, participants were divided into five groups, each assigned to different locations to spread the message of Islam.
The areas included: Nueva Ecija led by Kuabob Arca South, Taguig with a group of sisters at the KKK Heroes Park headed by Omar Nuguid.
The campaign was a resounding success, with 60 volunteers sharing Islam with 238 individuals, resulting in 146 embracing Islam
