However, when Luz first attempted to immerse herself in its pages, she felt overwhelmed by the weight of its words. She closed the book, convinced she was not yet ready to comprehend its depth, firmly believing the right time would come when God deemed it so.

Life went on, and Luz traveled to Bolivia, where she faced several personal challenges. Amid these trials, she felt divine guidance pushing her to view Islam from a new perspective. Upon returning to the Quran, she found comfort and guidance in every verse, describing a feeling of joy in her heart, a spiritual light, and an inner peace she had never experienced before.

This spiritual rebirth led her to convert to Islam, a step Luz initially took alone. Later, traveling to La Paz, she discovered the Isa-Maryam Mosque, where she found a community that supported her on her new path, teaching her to pray correctly and giving her the opportunity to make her shahada.

Luz Amanda Rivera now feels blessed by Allah for being guided to the right path and for embracing Islam. “When you worship Allah with your heart, Allah answers our prayers.” Distributing the Quran holds paramount importance for her because today several people in her family, including herself, are Muslims because the book of Allah reached them. Likewise, it should reach every corner of the world.
