Rosa Isabel Soto – 37 – Argentina
Rosa Isabel Soto lived a life many could hardly imagine. She grew up amidst chaos, surrounded by violence, addictions, and false beliefs. Rosa Isabel found herself trapped in a cycle of despair and self-destruction. The search for something to fill the void in her heart led her down dark paths, where pain and loneliness were her only companions.
But her life changed dramatically at the age of 36 when she heard the words “Islam” and “Qur’an” for the first time. This sparked an insatiable curiosity in her, a fervent desire to understand the meaning behind those words.
Becoming a Muslim was for Rosa Isabel not just a choice of faith, but the beginning of a new life. Through the Qur’an, she found comfort and guidance. The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the principles of Islam offered her a different and healthy path, far from what she had known before. “Today, I don’t worry about the dunya because I am convinced that my Lord provides for me. My life changed for the better, and I am happy. I know that everything that happens to me, good or bad, is a decree from my Lord and a test to become a better person.”
For those who, like her, are seeking answers, Rosa Isabel has something to say: “This is the truth, this is the way, there is no religion but one, and it is to believe in God. From my experience, I would tell them to seek the truth, seek knowledge. The Qur’an is read with the heart.”
That’s why it’s important to distribute the Qur’an, Rosa Isabel insists, “because people today, more than ever, need God.”
