As part of iERA’s activities in Honduras, we have a space outside the Dawah Center called the “Quran Corner.” It consists of a table filled with Islamic books and the Quran, so that visitors walking around the mall have the opportunity to sit and enjoy a pleasant moment reading the Quran and other Islamic literature.
A few days ago, after receiving several visits to the Quran Corner, brother Ronmel and his 11-year-old daughter decided to enter the center and ask for more information. It was a touching and heartwarming moment to see father and daughter learning about Islam together.
To our surprise, his daughter had more questions than her father. She was very curious and already had some degree of knowledge along with a perfect understanding of what Tawhid was.
After a pleasant talk, both father and daughter decided to give their shahada and embrace Islam. Brother Ronmel told us that he had always been curious about Islam, but had never managed to find Muslims until he came to our center.
He also told us that he had raised his daughter according to the moral and spiritual values that Islam teaches, even though he wasn’t aware of it, and that is why they both felt they were already Muslims.
