It all began by chance: Vitalino arrived at the Islamic center in Venezuela asking for directions. What he didn’t know was that while searching for a specific address, he would find the true direction of his life.
At the Islamic center, they gave him some pamphlets and invited him to attend talks there. They also gave him a Qur’an, which he read more than four times from cover to cover. As he studied, his questions became deeper and more profound.
When they invited him to embrace Islam, Vitalino was determined: he wouldn’t do it until he was completely sure.
Finally, after months of study and reflection, Vitalino felt it was the right time. He moved from sadness to joy, from loneliness to well-being.
Thus, Vitalino became the person who took the longest to accept Islam at the Venezuelan dawah center.
He has already participated in iERA’s GORAP training and attended a New Muslim Retreat, showing that the perfect time to embrace Islam is different for everyone—it is the time determined by Allah.
