Sharing Islam and Building Community in Australia

Alhamdulillah! This month, the iERA team in Australia has been active in spreading the message of Islam and supporting new Muslims through a variety of initiatives:

  • Islam shared: 21 people were reached through street dawah tables, engaging the public in meaningful conversations about faith.
  • Shahadah: One individual embraced Islam, beginning their journey of faith.
  • New Muslim Support: An impressive 65 new Muslims received guidance and support to help them strengthen their understanding and practice of Islam.
  • Weekly Sisters NMS: One online session was held specifically for new revert sisters, providing them with mentorship and guidance.
  • Weekly Revert Class in the City: One face-to-face session helped new Muslims deepen their knowledge and build a supportive community.
  • Stakeholders Meeting: One meeting was held to coordinate efforts and strengthen partnerships.

A special highlight of the month was the Revert Iftar event, organized by the iERA team in collaboration with UMB Masjid Brisbane. Over 80 participants attended, including 65 revert sisters, sharing a beautiful evening of community, reflection, and gratitude.

Alhamdulillah, these activities reflect the ongoing commitment to supporting new Muslims, fostering learning, and creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed and guided on their journey of faith.
