During a recent street dawah session in Brampton, the team had a heartwarming encounter with a woman named Colleen, who approached the dawah table with a sincere desire to learn more about different faiths.
Colleen shared that she had been studying various world religions for several years and believed in the Oneness of God without associating any partners with Him. However, she still had questions about the role of Jesus (peace be upon him) and wanted clarity on his position in Islam.

As the sisters at the table explained the true Islamic understanding of Jesus and discussed the core beliefs of Islam, Colleen realized that these teachings closely matched her own convictions. She expressed that Islam had always resonated with her, but she had felt hesitant to take the next step — especially without someone to accompany her to a mosque.
Moved by the conversation and reassured by the welcoming atmosphere, Colleen decided to embrace Islam that very day. She pronounced her Shahadah with sincerity and joy, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her spiritual journey.
She was delighted to learn that a sister mentor would be there to guide her, offering continued support and helping her visit the masjid for the first time. Her story serves as a beautiful reminder of the power of gentle dawah, compassion, and community in guiding hearts to the truth.
