As he passed, a volunteer offered him a leaflet titled “El Coran.” This sparked a long-dormant yearning within him. He had been searching for the Quran for over 30 years, ever since he was a child.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he shared story; He had longed to learn about the Quran and Islam since childhood, but life had always seemed to get in the way. Now, standing in that subway station, he finally found what he had been searching for.
Unexpected detour, beautiful destination: The brother returned to Tequila, not just with supplies, but with a newfound purpose. He might possibly be the first Muslim in his town.
