“To read the Quran, one must do so with an open mind and heart,”

says Kurt Brun Ríos, also known as Ismael. He is 49 years old and lives in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Ismael shares that he came to Islam through “a personal journey towards understanding the wonder of creation and our purpose in this life.”

For Ismael, when reading the Quran, one should not worry about anything other than seeing the wonder in the text. That is why he believes one must approach the book of Allah with an open mind and heart.

Regarding the distribution of Qurans around the world, Ismael considers it to be of utmost importance because it will allow people who do not have the opportunity to learn the truth about Islam to understand, feel, and discover for themselves what is rarely said and challenges the commonly accepted falsehoods.
