This month, we highlight significant developments from Africa, Asia & Oceania, Latin America, and the UK & Europe, inspiring us all to continue our mission of sharing the beauty and truth of Islam.
Africa: Stories of Faith and Transformation
Tanzania experienced a surge of inspiring conversions. Alex in Mbeya embraced Islam after experiencing the compassion of Muslims. A SIM vendor in Mbeya was drawn to Islam through a chance encounter, while Bibi, an elderly woman in her 80s, accepted Islam after a touching interaction with iERA’s Outreach Specialists. The southern highlands saw a woman finding the truth of Islam after years of spiritual searching, and a young man turned away from alcohol to live a more fulfilling life under Islamic principles. In these efforts, the wives of Outreach Specialists played a significant role by enriching New Muslim classes, especially for women.
In Malawi, iERA’s da’wah team continued its impactful work, including Zakaat distribution and the training of new Muslims. Boniface Abraham’s story stands out, as he embraced Islam after a deep spiritual quest. In a memorable initiative, a blind da’ee exemplified the power of persistence and belief in Malawi’s New Muslim Intensive Program, and iERA celebrated a unique graduation in a Malawian prison where inmates completed dawah training.
In Uganda, the outreach efforts continued to impact lives across different communities. Notable stories included Hassan, who embraced Islam in his 80s after a long spiritual journey, and Mariam, a former pig farmer who found peace in Islam. The month also saw the powerful story of Zahara, a woman whose newfound faith inspired those around her.
Zambia saw the conversion of Mwale Abidu, a man who accepted Islam with an open heart, and Simusuko, who sought the truth and was guided to the path of Islam. Rwanda featured uplifting accounts of communities coming together, with duats (Islamic missionaries) helping to transform the lives of people facing various hardships. Amina, an elderly woman, embraced Islam after years of seeking the truth, while Fatuma, a vibrant woman, found solace in her faith before tragically passing away in a bicycle accident.

- Addressing Misconceptions: A dedicated outreach team successfully guided a 19-year-old to Islam by clarifying misunderstandings about the faith.
- Superstitions and Transformation: A businessman left behind his superstitious beliefs to embrace Islam, illustrating the power of knowledge and understanding.
- Courage Against Opposition: A man chose to follow his heart and embrace Islam, despite disapproval from his family, highlighting the strength of personal conviction.
- The Spirit of Resilience: A herdsman, driven by an unwavering spirit, found solace and truth in Islam, marking a significant transformation in his life.
Asia & Oceania: Inspiring New Converts
In Australia, the Brisbane CBD City Dawah Team continues to engage the community effectively, sharing the message of Islam. The efforts of the Waikato Muslim Students Association at a recent dawah workshop inspired many students to become ambassadors of the faith.
A remarkable event occurred in Fiji, where 20 shahadahs were facilitated in Naitutuvatu village, transforming the lives of many individuals who embraced Islam. Furthermore, over 100 people found their way to Islam in Papua New Guinea, marking a significant milestone for our dawah efforts in the region.
Latin America: Transformative Encounters
In Mexico, a staunch Catholic embraced Islam after thorough research into various religions, demonstrating the power of knowledge and understanding. Farid’s journey in Paraguay revealed a missing link that led him to peace and tranquility through Islam.
Josefino found inspiration in a burning candle, symbolizing hope and guidance for his friends. A story from Honduras highlighted an individual who traveled 148 kilometers, motivated by curiosity, to learn about Islam, showcasing the lengths people will go to seek the truth. In Colombia, Valentina’s journey reflects the quest for peace during uncertain times, leading her to embrace Islam.
UK & Europe: Spreading the Message of Islam
In Ireland, an Islamic Cultural Exhibition brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds, allowing them to explore the beauty of Islam. The memory of Umar Abdullah (Tobias Taitt) continues to inspire many to share the message of Islam, emphasizing the importance of compassion and understanding in dawah efforts.
Other Impactful Initiatives and Events
