From Jesus to Allah: The Journey of Three Women to Islam

Our team in Malawi was on a mission to spread the message of Islam when they heard laughter and chatter from behind a row of houses. The duat followed the sound and found three women enjoying each other’s company. They greeted them warmly and asked if they could join them. One of them looked at the duat with astonishment and asked, “Are you Muslims?”

The duat confirmed that they were, and asked them about their own beliefs. They told them that they came from different backgrounds, but they all believed in Jesus as their savior who died for their sins. “If he paid for your sins,” the duat asked, “does that mean you can do whatever you want without fearing God?”

The women did not know how to answer but they were not offended. The duat asked more questions, and the women listened carefully and with curiosity. Our team shared with them the beauty and wisdom of Islam, answering each of their questions with patience and compassion. They explained how Islam teaches the worship of Allah alone, to follow His guidance, and to seek His forgiveness.

The conversation lasted for hours, covering many topics of faith and spirituality. The women were captivated by the knowledge our team shared, and their hearts began to soften toward Islam. Our duat did not pressure them or manipulate them, but let them make their own decisions. Eventually, by the grace of Allah, they embraced Islam, alhamdulillah!
