A farmer born and raised in the Southern Highlands, lived a life without religious practice.
His belief was simple: there is a God, and one should strive to do good in the world. However, he struggled to find faith, often resorting to alcohol.
His life however turned around for the best when he crossed paths with the iERA Duat.
They spoke to him about the beauty of Islam, its practices, and its global recognition as the true religion. This encounter gave him a curious mind, prompting him to delve deeper into the teachings of Islam.
Despite his initial skepticism, the Duat patiently explained to him the concept of repentance and forgiveness in Islam. They cited examples from the Quran and shared stories of forgiveness among people, illustrating how seeking forgiveness is through asking from Allah.
While they were still discussing he found solace in these discussions. He realized that even as a flawed individual, he could find redemption through sincere repentance. The teachings of Islam resonated with him, offering a path to spiritual fulfillment that he had long been searching for.
After much conversation and soul-searching, he made the life-changing decision to embrace Islam. With a sense of peace and gratitude, he uttered the Shahadah.
