Do you remember the story of the Jewish man who would not accept Islam but asked his ill son to listen to the Prophet (salallahu aleihi wassalam)? The son accepted Islam and died a Muslim. SubhanaAllah, something similar happened in Uganda!
The iERA duaat had just reported to one of the villages, to do preparations for an outreach event. The village chief welcomed them and since the village had no masjid, he opened his home for them to pray. Seeing this kind gesture, the team used the opportunity to him give him Dawah. The Chief listened carefully, but he asked for more time to think about what the duaat said.
He watched as the daees prayed dhuhur and Asr and felt sorry that no one in the village could join them for salah. Eager for his community to hear about Islam he asked them to share this message with his son!
After a 15 minute talk, the village chief’s son accepted Islam and so he became the first Muslim in that village. Alhamdulillah!
