Without his role as the final Messenger, none of us would know Islam today—none of our mosques would exist, we would not practice zakat, and the beauty of the faith that guides millions would be unknown.

Many of us, including the speaker and their own family, sometimes overlook the blessings of faith until we imagine life without it. Every opportunity to act upon the Qur’an, as the Prophet ﷺ did after the revelation of its early verses—“Read in the name of your Lord”—is a chance to rise, educate ourselves, and make a difference in the world.
