What was once a small masjid in the indigenous Aeta community of Sitio Target, Sapangbato, Angeles, Pampanga, has grown into a vibrant center of worship, learning, and community service—thanks to the mercy of Allah and the continued generosity of donors and supporters.
Sharing an update on the community’s progress, Kuya Bob expressed his gratitude to Allah and to everyone who has contributed through sadaqah, donations, and sponsorships. Their collective support has enabled the community to expand its masjid and develop programs that are making a lasting impact on the lives of Aeta Muslims.
Today, the masjid serves as more than just a place of prayer. It regularly hosts Jumu’ah khutbahs, provides access to a growing Islamic library, and runs feeding programs that benefit families within the community. These initiatives are helping strengthen the faith of new Muslims while providing practical support to those in need.
The community has also benefited from donations of clothing, hijabs, shoes, and other essential items. Every contribution, whether large or small, has played a role in improving the lives of indigenous Aeta Muslims and creating opportunities for them to learn, worship, and grow together.
Kuya Bob encouraged supporters to continue standing alongside indigenous Aeta reverts and new Muslim communities across the Philippines. He emphasized that ongoing generosity and compassion are helping to build stronger communities and ensuring that new Muslims receive the care, education, and encouragement they need on their journey of faith.
