Alhamdulillah, the New Zealand team continued its efforts to share and strengthen the message of Islam throughout the week. The team engaged with 120 people, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, answering questions and introducing people to the teachings of Islam.
Education remained a key focus, with two Islam 101 classes delivered to help participants build a stronger understanding of the foundations of Islam. The team also supported two new Muslims and provided one mentorship session, ensuring that those beginning their journey had continued guidance and support.
The week also included one Dawah Training session and two Public Speaking sessions, helping participants develop the confidence and skills needed to communicate the message of Islam effectively. These sessions contribute to building a stronger network of people equipped to engage others with knowledge, wisdom and good character.
In addition, the team held four stakeholder meetings, strengthening relationships and creating opportunities for further collaboration within the wider community.
