A saying has been attributed to the Prophet ☪️Muhammad ﷺ that whenever someone will embrace Islam, he would say to his companions to teach their brother how to pray.
For this reason, it is a tradition that has been upheld by the Islamic predecessors until modern times.
The iERA Duat across the globe have also adopted and incorporated the practice into all their activities.
The dawah done at iERA is not only about giving shahadah to people and leaving hem to do what they please. The New Muslims are actually taught how to pray and also how to about their daily activities as Muslims.
In Malawi, the iERA team have don an excellent job by imbibing in the local Muslims how to carry out this tradition of handling New Muslims.
The Muslims in these village have normalized the tradition of being responsible for every person that accepts Islam.
By doing so, the bond of brotherhood that Islam teaches us have made the New Muslims in the village felt like they are finally at where they truly belong.
The iERA Duat have taught the locals to know that, it is a duty that has been placed on them by the Prophet ﷺ. They know that the believers are brothers👨👩👧👦 and therefore, they work together to make sure that true Islam is felt by all.
They have become a perfect exemplary for others to learn and both New and old Muslims live harmoniously.
