Brother Kelvin Muwumuza has embraced Islam after searching long and wide for a spiritual fulfilment after not finding it in his own religious identity, Christianity.
According to him, he had roamed in different churches trying to find that missing connection that made Christianity make much sense.
This transformation took place after the iERA Tanzania team fund him in his town while carrying on with the Prophetic Mission of spreading the message of Islam.
The Duat after taking him through the GORAP methodology took time to describe the significance of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in filling the missing gap in his long lost spiritual contentment.
They discussed with him his teachings on kindness, forgiveness, and justice.
Muwumuza was deeply moved by the emphasis on equality and human rights in Islam. These values struck a chord with him, igniting a spark of curiosity and interest.
As Muwumuza delved into the translated Luganda Quran, he felt an overwhelming sense of clarity and purpose. The verses spoke directly to his soul, offering the peace and understanding he had long sought. Guided by this newfound light, Muwumuza felt compelled to embrace the truth he had discovered.
With Allah’s guidance, Muwumuza accepted Islam and recited the Shahada: “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” As he proclaimed his faith, tears of joy streamed down his face, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his spiritual journey.
Adopting the name Ismael, Muwumuza found a sense of peace and belonging among his new Muslim family. The iERA team’s efforts to reach out and call people back to Allah had touched yet another soul, bringing him into the fold of Islam.
Brother Ismael’s journey from spiritual seeking to finding his true path in Islam is a testament to the power of faith and the profound impact of iERA’s mission.
His story highlights the importance of compassion, understanding, and the willingness to share the beauty of Islam with others.
