From Learners to Leaders – The Story of New Du‘āt Ready to Serve the Ummah

Alhamdulillah, six months ago, a remarkable journey quietly began. A group of committed brothers—each with his own background, personality, and life experiences—came together with one intention: to learn how to call others to Allah with wisdom, clarity, and sincerity. They arrived as learners, but none of them knew how deeply this journey would shape their hearts, their character, and their future.

In the early days, the brothers sat side by side, listening attentively as their teachers introduced the foundations of aqeedah. These lessons strengthened their understanding of Allah, strengthened their certainty, and gave them a solid base upon which all daʿwah must stand. They studied effective communication, learning how to speak calmly, listen attentively, and respond with kindness—even in challenging situations. Leadership sessions taught them discipline, patience, and how to carry responsibility with humility and vision.

As weeks passed, these brothers grew not only in knowledge but also in brotherhood. They shared meals, exchanged ideas, helped each other revise notes, and reminded one another of their purpose. What started as a class soon became a bond—a small community striving to improve for the sake of Allah

.

But the most transformative moments happened outside the classroom. Guided by their mentors, the brothers stepped into the field to practice real daʿwah. They visited marketplaces, parks, villages, and busy streets—speaking to people from all walks of life. They learned how to start conversations naturally, how to answer questions gently, and how to offer reminders that touch the heart. They supported new Muslims with warmth and patience, helping them take their first steps in Islam. They discovered the beauty of guiding others, and the responsibility that comes with it.

Every outing brought new experiences—some easy, some difficult—but each one strengthened their character and sharpened their daʿwah skills. Their confidence grew, their compassion deepened, and their understanding of people became more mature.

Finally, after months of effort, the day of graduation arrived. The hall was filled with a sense of achievement, brotherhood, and gratitude. The brothers entered with humble smiles, wearing the look of men who had worked hard and grown immensely. Certificates were awarded one by one, each representing not just completion, but commitment and sacrifice. Cameras clicked, capturing the moments that would be remembered for years. A heartfelt reminder was shared—encouraging them to stay sincere, to avoid arrogance, and to remember that true daʿwah begins with one’s own character.

Standing together, the brothers felt both joy and responsibility. Their journey as students had come to an end, but their journey as duʿāt was just beginning. They were no longer simply learners—they had become leaders, ready to serve their communities with knowledge, wisdom, and compassion.

And this is not the end. iERA will continue walking with them, providing mentorship, materials, support, and follow-up to ensure that their daʿwah remains consistent, structured, and impactful. With Allah’s help, their efforts will bring guidance to many hearts.

May Allah bless these brothers, keep them sincere, and make their daʿwah a light for others.
