An elderly man walked past the table, however he believed having lived this long, he deserved the opportunity to at least learn a tiny little bit about Islam. So, we followed him up and invited him to the table. He was reluctant at first but later obliged to at least give us a listening ear.
He gave us a few minutes and was growing impatient. When we observed he was getting uneasy, we offered him a copy of a pamphlet on Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him). He took it, walked a few metres and disappeared in the horizon.
Almost an hour later, he came and said to us: “I have almost finished reading the pamphlet and I agree with everything inside. Yes, Jesus is not God, when God did not have intercourse with anyone how can you call anyone the son of God?” His face filled with joy as he mentioned these points confirming his earlier study of the pamphlet.
At this time, he has given us more room to talk to him. He spoke for a short period of time and invited him to pick the Qur’an. This time without any form of hesitation, he collected it to read more. His excitement was very obvious and he left pleased.
