Alhamdulillah. Yesterday, we began the Quran weekly classes for the revert, I was astonished by the performance and zeal. Allahu Akbar. Some were already learning the Quran on their own, some had enrolled in an Islamic school even though they didn’t speak the language and some had been stock at Surah An-Nas for over 3,4 or 5 years. Ya rabb.
For almost all of them, the method we took to engage them was making it easier for them to read an entire surah in one day especially short surahs. They couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe their enormous efforts either. That was just impressive, wallahi.
Please keep them in your Dua, we can’t fail them. We will do our part InshaAllah. This is another reminder never to belittle the little effort you put into the deen.
